Originally from Northern California, I now call Florida my home. I’m a Graphic Artist, Textile Artist, Painter and Resin Artist. I love the vibrant colors and random shapes of the glass, which cause me to think outside the box to develop my next shattered glass creation. Finding unwanted glass that I can up-cycle inspires my coastal-themed pieces.
My beach and ocean Inspiration comes from growing up on the California coast. Now living in Florida brings me that joy, long walks on the beach and finding shell treasures give me mental images of broken glass art that fuel my creative work. Working with glass is a new found passion; everything I create is a joy.
My backgrounds are all hand painted then layered with tumbled glass, hand cut glass, shells, beads, and other elements and finally coated with resin. All my cut glass edges have been buffed to remove any sharp edges.
Small imperfections, variations, and quirks are part of it’s unique charm and a beautiful reminder that this is one-of-a-kind art.
